(as stated in the organization’s constitution Article II, section I)

• To inform Bedans about the organization and its ideals through general assemblies and providing access to documents and publications of Red Lens through the website and other materials produced by the organization.

• To actively involve the members of the organization to cover various activities within and outside San Beda College.

• To help people gain knowledge that will further enhance their skills in photography through workshops, photo walks, exhibits, seminars and other projects sponsored by Red Lens in collaboration with other organizations within and outside San Beda College.

• To open the doors for Bedans to participate in various photography activities in the regional, national and international.

• To train members to become socially responsible leaders by participating in community development activities.

• To promote responsible photo journalism as an informative tool that can help us understand subjects of social relevance, as well as a tool to show nationalism and Filipino pride.

• To produce good Bedan photographers as well as to produce Bedan leaders.

• To allow people to see through photography what they do not usually see.
