
The Seal of Red Lens
The seal of Red Lens has a solid red base with a crowned lion which is superimposed by a camera with red aperture on it. The facial feature of the lion carries the aperture technology which is an essential element of a camera.
The seal symbolizes the following:
- The color Red symbolizes the college and the organization.
- The Camera represent the passion on photography
- The Lion represent the community of San Beda
- The Eight Triangles on the aperture symbolizes the eight goals and objectives of Red Lens
- The Five Strands of hair of the lion represent the five main types of photography; the cityscape, landscape, seascape, everyday life and still life.
- The Red Triangle represent San Beda’s three main Vision-Mission:
- To be Fully Human;
- To be Wholly Christian;
- To be Truly Filipino and Globally Competetive
- The triangles inside the camera means and reminds that the organization should perform in accordance with the vision and mission of San Beda College.
- The crown symbolizes the goal of excellence in terms of photography and leadership.
