For a new organization, Red Lens Photography Club has already achieved a lot. From winning the Most Innovative Booth award during its first time of joining in the College Organization Recruitment Week and by holding a photo exhibit featuring Bedan culture and tradition, this new organization is making waves not only inside the campus, but outside as well.
These bunch of passionate artists hone their craft through constant training only from the best. The “Learning from the Pros Photography Workshop Series” with professional photographers; Bobut Meru and Tilak Hettige serving as their mentors was the highlight of Red Lens’ training for its first year.
Not to mention, the always educational and fun photowalks that the group holds once every two months definitely encourage its members to develop their skills more. Red Lens also served the San Beda community as they covered approximately 95% of school activities both inside and outside the walls of San Beda.
With their significant contribution to the San Beda community despite being a probationary organization, Red Lens definitely deserved to be awarded as the 9th best organization in San Beda for school year 2009-2010.
With the passion of its members, and their determination to continually serve San Beda thru their love for the art of photography, we will surely see greater things from this organization. [More Photos]
